We at LIGRE want to work as energy-saving and environmentally friendly as possible and have that LIGRE youn equipped with a timer to save energy and avoid unnecessary heating of the device. The timer is programmable with up to 3 settings per day, individually for each day of the week.

With the LIGRE youn this time varies about between 28 to 35 seconds, depending on the selected brewing profile and the grinding degree of the ground coffee. With the LIGRE youn this time varies about between 28 to 35 seconds, depending on the selected brewing profile and the grinding degree of the ground coffee. This is a little longer than with most espresso machines for a good reason: the pre-infusion and the brewing pause support the extraction phase and doing so influence the outcome of the taste. The flowmeters measure the exact amount of water flow for coffee and hot water, which can be followed on the display.
